South African National Military Veterans Association (SANMWA)
The South Africa National Military Veterans Association was established on the 27 September 2008 as an effort "to intergrate the desires and aspirations of individual veterans and activities of recognized military veterans" This historic step was formalised by the acceptance and signing into power of the SANMWA Constitution in the presence of 500 representatives from the eight founding member organisations, including a group of 60 delegates from the Council of Military Veterans' Organisations (CMVO) of which the SA Armour Association is a member.
